The pier at Mobile
Bay was blown away by hurricane Kartina and was never rebuilt. This is the site where there was a wonderful seafood restuarant, it extended out onto the pier. We ate there often. We hated to see the damage it sustained,and that they didn't rebuild. The restuarant opened on the other side of town in an already established building.

That's sad about the restaurant, but it's good to see they reopened. Are they as good as before?
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the new location, but I am sure they are as good as they were before the storm. Their new location is over 20 miles away.
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the pier. There was a good restaurant here that never reopened after a fire gutted it becasue they didn't have enuf ins coverage. Maybe your restaurant didn';t have enuf to rebuild.
